First point - this feels great on. Somehow softer and more comfortable to wear than the usual PM bibs. I've been looking for 'alternative', or "non-petroleum" (recycled fits this bill) cycling kit for years. It looks well put together too with stitching being perfect and no expose 'rub' areas visible. I've had 3 or 4 rides in it so far and have done maybe 300 km with lots of climbing, but the difference is that it feels a little stretchier and less firm than the standard kit (I bought a set of standard tourers at the same time) and the legs hems ride up a little more . I'm not sure this will be a bad thing in the long run, but in my experience lycra stretches a bit too quickly for me and my riding and I'm sick of having to retire bib shorts well before their use-by date purely because the size is now one-size too big as I suffer from saddle-sores if I'm not careful. I'd love to wholly endorse this recycled kit, but can't say as yet. But to be honest, It feels good at the beginning of it's life.
